London is one of the busiest cities in the U.K. with vast amount of history and amazing things to see. Those who know me, know that I’m not a huge fan of being in busy places, I’m well and truly a county mouse. Since we only had 6 hours in the city: here’s some places I recommend for fellow anxious city goers (and I didn’t need to get on the tube once)
The National history museum

We didn’t venture too far from South Kensington, and the first place on our list was the National history museum. Whether you’re there for the huge blue whale skeleton, Hope, the architecture, the dinosaurs of the amazing Pizza in the Trex cafe, it seriously has something for everybody.
Bonus points: it is free— you just need to prebook a ticket
It’s accessible by the tube or one of its many bus routes.

Hyde park

I’m sure everyone has come across hyde park before, weather it’s from the tv, a book or film. It’s Grade I-listed and roughly 350 acres large. It’s such a beautiful green space, you don’t even realise you’re in the city.
Royal Albert hall
Sadly we didn’t venture inside to the impressive building, instead we walked around outside it and enjoyed the impressive architecture.
Blossom tree Hunting

Also being a fellow nature girl, Dewdrop needed her dose of the outdoors. If you’re visiting in spring you will easily find hundreds of blossom trees to enjoy.
I hope you enjoyed our 6 hour itinerary! Hopefully we can come back to London again soon, there’s so many things on our to do list!
